Urig Roter Veltliner, Bauer, Orange Wine 2021
Our first wines from the Wagram wine region on the Danube west of Vienna and one of three new orange wines in our portfolio. Roter Veltliner is a real rarity and is only distantly related to Grüner Veltliner. The Urig is matured for a whole year in 600l barrels before bottling. Organic, unfiltered and natural.
Peach, quince and a hint of peppermint on the nose, gooseberry and almonds combined with the typical apple cider and tannic orange wine note.
Great with light game dishes or as an aperitif.
